UPDATE 25.03.2020
So as we sit home, we travel in memories.
Here, the memory of the greatest travel we have done, so far. Sum up of those amazing places we discovered for ourselves in South Asia during the first half of the year long honeymoon in 2018.
Enjoy the story!
WHAT IS FRAZALEZ
We are two bon vivants. The priority in our lives is to enjoy, as far as it is healthy, safe and doesn’t hurt anyone.
Nevertheless, travelling is the passion that brought and keeps us together. Over the last seven years, we’ve traveled at weekends and on longer holidays to over 40 countries, and really never wanted to stop or take a break, to the discontent of our hometown Hamburg.
We decided that our early thirties would be the first time we can afford a world trip and the last time we will be willing to do it backpacker style, although many of you find this hard to imagine. So we quit our jobs, sublet our beautiful place, had the goodbye vodka and dance with our friends, bought a proper backpack and a flight ticket.
We plan to travel for a year, but there are in fact no limits to this as we don’t have any obligations back home. The year could also come to an end in April, if we miss our mamas too much, or if the treasury will become deserted. As mentioned, we are not the youngest, not the most adventurous and not the most undemanding travelers. But for financial and authenticity reasons we will still try to travel on a budget and not the lonely planet way. Staying with locals we meet before and meeting locals during our travels will be our priority, and today’s world of social apps is very helpful when it comes to getting in touch with new people at each destination.
The plan from today (January 2017) is Sri Lanka – India, we are blessed to be invited to a wedding – Nepal. After these 3 months we will then go our separate ways for over 3 months. Frac will be helping some children in the Ecuadorian jungle from May onwards and Carlos will be discovering the beauty of south-east Asia including some serious diving.
Later in August we will reunite in South America to travel together for as long as it gets:)
(Update will come soon)

Personal notes:
Carlos – from down south, Seville, Spain, the hottest city imaginable for a European. Started his studies with some mechanical engineering at his home university in Sevilla, then took up the chance to continue in Munich, Germany. Sunny Bavaria kept him for some years. Not only in Munich, but also in Einstein’s city of Ulm. After falling into Frac’s trap, he moved north in 2011. Since then Hamburg has been his hometown. Sports and arts addict, very into his photography and other geekiness.
Frac – born and raised on a beautiful Baltic beach in Sopot, Poland, the party and spa city of the Polish coast. Studied environmental engineering back home and in Valencia, Spain, and decided to specialise in renewable energies, which brought him to the world’s capital of wind energy – Hamburg. The Hanseatic city has been his hometown since 2009, and a great base for little and big travels. Professional party host and guest, cook and big fan of fashion, sports and music.
